Meet the band!
Zander - Bass
Intially influenced by Bill Wyman (unfortunately it was Billy 'three fingers' Wyman, the local butcher) I took up the bass with 60's band The 6th Sense, and toured the length and breadth of Scotland. Graduated to 'Chicago' blues via Zoot Money and John Mayall. Great to be playing with a pure blues band. The rhythm section is the place to be!.
Nig - Guitar, Vocals
My first guitar was a Christmas present in 1964, it was all plastic construction with John, Paul, George and Ringo on the body. I never got it to stay in tune and the frets all wore out within the week. My second guitar was similar construction but used wood and had metal frets, Hallelujah!.
George - Harmonica
From the bayous of Ayrshire to the Tay Delta, George’s has been sookin’ and blawin’ harmonica for a few years now. Not as fast as the Blues Traveller, not as off-key as Bob Dylan, his style adds a certain ‘Ah dinna ken whit?’ to the HollowBody experience.  
Ronan - Drums
I was asked back in the early nineties to turn up at a school "band" (i.e. legitimate excuse for causing tinnitus) for a tryout. After a couple of pieces, I was informed that the violin I was playing didn't quite suit the sound of the band and would I like to try out the drum kit in the corner? The rest, as they say, is history. |
